During Shraddh, we remember and honor our ancestors and departed loved ones through donations of food and other forms of charity. You might wish to donate to your local food bank, or you may include a donation here for Antioch's local food bank. We are also collecting for Anandi Ma's Nikora Ashram so they can feed the local villagers. If you would like to donate with your event registration, please see options below. Any donations for the Nikora Ashram must be received by September 3.

The following items will be used:  puja vessels and water, a new or clean (freshly laundered) scarf or light shawl that can be folded and placed over one shoulder, black sesame seeds, barley with husk, a ring made from dharbai grass or gold/silver/copper, names of deceased relatives.

Worksheets and detailed materials list are provided in your confirmation email, as well as a link for ordering the dharbai grass. If you're attending the puja in person in Antioch, no need to order the grass since it will be provided.
